Marko Grujic featured for 52 minutes as Serbia rescued a 2-2 draw against FYR Macedonia at the U21 European Championship on Tuesday evening.

The Liverpool midfielder spurned a couple of promising chances in the opening 45 minutes as his country sought to bounce back from their defeat by Portugal at the weekend.

Nevertheless, Serbia took the lead midway through the first half courtesy of Mijat Gacinovic, before Grujic was withdrawn from the action shortly after the interval.

Enis Bardi and Nikola Gjorgjev overturned the scoreline after the break but Uros Djurdjevic levelled things up in the last minute to salvage something from the tie.

Serbia therefore have one point from their two games at the tournament so far and are in third place in Group B. Next they face Spain in Bydgoszcz on Friday.
