Mohamed Salah has joined an elite club of Liverpool players to have scored 30 goals in a season in all competitions.

The forward reached the mark for this term with the second of the team’s five efforts during Wednesday night’s Champions League win at FC Porto, continuing a hot streak that shows no sign of ending.

Only 12 men in the Reds’ 125-year history had previously achieved the feat, with Salah the first to do so since 2014 and only the sixth in the past four decades.
