Liverpool FC has today submitted a planning application to Liverpool City Council to transform the old retail store in the Kop at Anfield into a new fan bar.

The application seeks permission to convert the vacant space into a bar which will feature live music and large-screen TVs for up to 700 supporters to enjoy each matchday.

The proposed bar will open four hours before kick-off and welcomes all fans visiting Anfield for the Reds’ home games.

This new scheme reflects the club’s continued investment in Anfield and further enhances the facilities for fans on matchdays.

The planning application is expected to be determined by Liverpool City Council in April 2018.
